Visit Burnsall
Burnsall is a small village on the River Wharfe within the Yorkshire Dales National Park of North Yorkshire, south-east of Grassington.
A scenic village in a picturesque location, Burnsall mostly attracts visitors who are walking in the surrounding Wharfedale countryside, or enjoying a picnic by the river.
The main highlights within the village itself are the Church of Saint Wilfrid, a very old church with a carved font dating from the 11th century; and the very photogenic arched stone bridge across the river.
Burnsall village is an attractive row of stone houses along the road between these two monuments. Although facilities are limited there is a pub in the village.
