Visit Wembury
It is best known for wildlife in the rockpools along the coast - the shore here is a treasure-trove for adults and children alike who enjoy peering into rock pools in search of various crabs and sea creatures.
The Wembury Marine Centre (next to Wembury Beach) has information about the coast and what you can expect to find, and holds regular Rockpool Rambles - see Wembury Marine Centre events for details of events that coincide with your visit.
The National Trust own and manage much of the peninsula, and also the Mewstone (the distinctive island you can see just off the coast). They run a cafe in a converted watermill at Wembury Beach.
